Vogue Russia Feb.09 announced for Thursday
My paper shop told me that the February issue of Vogue Russia should be available on Thu, Jan. 22. Although I have to say that I'm not in a hurry when I saw who's on the cover although it promises a "new" Victoria B.

I know! This is so stange to have Vic on the cover of VR! I'm quite shocked...
Honestly, this is a good celeb cover if there ever was one.I'm no Beckham fan, but if it has to be someone really famous then it makes sense to have her on the cover.She really is making waves in the fashion world with her well recived collection, and public makeover in the last year.She never offend's me like some other celebs,so i think Aliona did the right thing to feature her on the cover now that she is very hot, and "in".(and its sort of a celeb issue anyway, so dont think it will become a habit to have celebs on the cover!)
She gave us Albino Posh, how many editors would do this with someone like Victoria Beckham?She didnt go for the cutter cute, glam photo, this cover is soo striking to me, i really like it.And it seems Mert & Marcus are becoming regular's at VR.
It seems that this cover provokes more interest and contrary comments than usual VR issues do. I just hope that you, Sara, are right and celeb covers will be an exception. I'd really hate to see Britney, Lindsay or Paris on a VR cover. And I generally don't like women with implants :(
